The Parched Summer Refresher Cohort is a space to slow down, be present, and return to the only One who can truly satisfy your thirsty soul.

Parched exists to create spaces and resources for those seeking the only One who can truly satisfy.

This cohort is one of those spaces.

Not a place to perform.
Not more content to consume.

But a space to:

Be honest about where you are
Sit in the presence of Jesus
Experience renewal in community

What This Experience Will Be Like

Each week follows a simple, intentional rhythm designed to help you slow down and encounter God:

Large Group

  • Centering prayer

  • Guided reflection on the weekly reading

Small Groups (8 people)

  • Soul check — How is your soul, really?

  • Honest conversation

  • Prayer for one another

Closing

  • Encouragement and prayer

You’ll stay with the same group each week, creating a space of trust, consistency, and depth.

What We’ll Be Exploring

We’ll journey through In the Name of Jesus by Henri Nouwen—a reflection on the kind of leadership that flows from intimacy with Christ.

Weekly Movements:

  • From Relevance → Prayer

  • From Popularity → Ministry

  • From Leading → Being Led

This is not about adding more to your leadership.
It’s about returning to the heart of it.

Who This Is For

This space is for you if:

  • You feel spiritually dry or stretched thin

  • You’re longing for a deeper encounter with Jesus

  • You want to slow down and be present to what God is doing in your life

  • You desire to lead from a place of rootedness, not exhaustion

  • Limited to 24 participants

  • 3 consistent breakout groups (8 people each)

  • Live, interactive sessions (not recorded)

  • Weekly email reflections to help you prepare

  • Optional Slack space for connection throughout the week
